While Chinese Democracy was revealed to record-setting numbers of listeners on MySpace last evening, Detroit Guns N' Roses fans had the opportunity to preview the new record in style at an official Best Buy listening party held at St. Andrew's Hall. Excitement filled the air as the introduction of “Chinese Democracy” blasted through the venue's public address system. As the floor-shaking music bombarded the jubilant crowd, a large video display dazzled them with animated sequences based on the band's new logo and designs seen on Internet banners and merchandise. The animations were synced up with the music, giving fans an eye-popping visual experience that complemented the thundering sounds perfectly. |
